Kristen and her husband Alex moved to St. Louis in the summer of 2016. Alex is a business consultant, and Kristen is entering her third year on staff with WashU RUF. Before coming to WashU, Kristen was an RUF intern at Texas A&M for two years. She and Alex met through RUF at Mississippi State University and both are so thankful for the impact this ministry had on their lives. The Thompsons enjoy any and all sports, both watching and playing, as well as getting together with family or playing games with friends. With both of them born and raised in the south, they are enjoying their first taste of midwestern life in St. Louis!
Noah graduated in 2018 from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee, where his family has lived since 2007. He studied Religious Studies and Philosophy as an undergrad, with hopes of pursuing more education after he finishes the RUF internship. Noah is passionate about Memphis and refugee and immigrant issues. He loves hanging out with his friends and playing board games and party games, especially Mafia. As someone with a lot of pride in his city, he's excited to make St. Louis his home and find all the weird and wonderful things that make it a unique city!

Kathryn spent one half of her childhood in Covington, GA and the other half in her father's hometown of Stanley, NC. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2019 with a major in English. Kathryn joined RUF as a freshman and reluctantly became a part of the leadership team as a sophomore because her intern told her there would be brownies at the interest meeting. Her interns and campus minister deeply impacted her, and RUF was a place where she learned that she could be broken and vulnerable and still deeply loved. She is excited to love students at WashU as she has been loved. Kathryn enjoys hiking, reading public domain books, and making feline friends.
